I have a Saturday Photo Design class, which is basically a Digital B&W printing and composition class. Today we all went to the Dayton Art Institute. They got to look around and shoot for class. As a bonus I got to shoot!

This week I had to attend the funeral of an extended family member. Like a lot of people, I feel awkward and out of place at gathering’s and especially so at funerals or family events. Being a photographer, I tend to deal with things a little better when I’m behind a camera. I’m pretty sure I could deal with just about anything, as long as I had a camera at hand.
I don’t want to get into the who and what, but the person was loved an will be deeply missed.
